Edinburgh Zoo is one of the best in Europe for watching penguins. The Rockhoppers are together with King penguins and Gentoo penguins. The Rockhopers are of the northern kind: the long-tufted (Eudyptes chrysocome moseleyi).
Schöbrunn Zoo, Vienna
Tiergarten Schönbrunn, the Rockhoppers are together with King penguins and there area also Humboldts. These Rockhoppers are of the Northern (long-tufted) type (Eudyptes chrysocome moseleyi) just like the ones in Edinburgh.
Pairi Daiza, Brugelette, Belgium
Since 2019 Pairi Daiza has the Land of the Cold where you can watch the penguins from your hotel room. The Rockhoppers are together with King and Gentoo penguins. Outside there are African penguins and there is a skeleton of a Magellanic penguin as well.
