Phillip Island
Unfortunately, it is not allowed to take pictures. The second picture is the only one of a living penguin. It was made through an observation hole. The other pictures are of stuffed dead animals. The arrival of the penguins was a little bit disappointing: only a small number of groups of five penguins were seen. A heavy antactic wind was blowing and it was raining. The other animals on Phillip Island were more comfortable to spot.
Kangaroo Island
Penguins were supposed to be at the Penneshaw Penguin Centre. However, they could not be found at the time I was there.
More succes was in the Gorge Wildlife park in Cudlee Creek, close to Adelaide.
